1. Acceptance of these Terms
By visiting https://startbuttonapp.com/ and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them in full, you must not use the Site or our Services.
2. Legal capacity
Purchases are available only to persons who (a) are at least 13 years old and (b) have legal capacity under Colombian law. If you are under 18, you warrant that you have parental or guardian permission to use the Site.
3. Our online store
The store runs on Shopify Inc. and processes payments through PayPal (PayPal balance and cards processed by PayPal). We may refuse any order, limit quantities, or close accounts that—in our judgment—violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Prices and availability
Prices are shown in USD and include any taxes payable at origin. Prices may change without prior notice. Products are offered “while supplies last”; listing an item on the Site does not guarantee stock.

Estimated transit time: 7 – 15 business days from dispatch confirmation.

Cost: free shipping on all orders.
Delivery times are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by customs or carriers.
6. Returns and Refunds
Start Button does not accept physical returns and does not provide product replacements.
Instead, we offer a partial refund process for items that are proven to be defective, based on strict requirements.
🔌 Before submitting a claim
Some issues may be due to cable connection or setup errors. Before claiming a defect, customers must:

Disconnect and firmly reconnect all cables

Try the console on a different TV or HDMI port

Keep the console powered ON for at least 1 full minute, even without image

Check all ports are clean and unobstructed
Claims that don’t follow these steps will be automatically rejected.
⏱️ Requirements for a valid claim
Customers must submit a request within 15 calendar days of delivery by e-mailing startbuttonapp01@gmail.com, and include:

Full name, order number, and date of purchase

5 clear photos showing the product and issue

2 videos, minimum 1 minute each, showing:

The problem happening in real time

The console turned ON
-
The original packaging (box, cables, labels)

🔍 Review and outcome
Claims are reviewed within 7 to 10 business days.
If approved, we will issue a partial refund only, depending on the model:

We reserve the right to reject incomplete or unclear submissions, or any request that doesn’t comply with the conditions above.
No full refunds or returns are accepted under any circumstances.

7. Billing and account data
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information (name, address, e-mail, payment data) and to update it promptly so we can complete transactions and contact you when necessary.
8. User content
Any comments, reviews, or suggestions you submit may be edited, published, translated, and otherwise used by Start Button without compensation. You guarantee that such content does not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful material.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, photos, software) is the property of Start Button or its licensors and is protected by Colombian and international copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Third-party tools and links
The Site may offer third-party tools or links “as is.” We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or availability.
11. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Site to:
(a) engage in unlawful activity; (b) infringe intellectual-property rights; (c) transmit malware; (d) collect personal data without consent; (e) harass, defame, or discriminate; (f) send false or misleading information; (g) interfere with security features.
12. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
The Service and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation. Start Button shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages except where prohibited by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Start Button, its directors, employees, and agents from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or of the law.
14. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute shall be submitted exclusively to the courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service without notice if you breach these Terms. Obligations and liabilities incurred prior to termination shall survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted on the Site; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
